The physical domain includes identifying and implementing appropriate physical security measures to protect the organisations people, information and physical assets.

Desired outcome

Each agency provides a safe and secure physical environment for their people, information and assets.

To support agencies to achieve this outcome, the South Australian Protective Security Framework (SAPSF) includes one Physical Security (PHYSEC) policy comprising one core requirement and number of supporting requirements. This policy outlines how agencies must secure their physical environments for the protection of their people, information and assets.
